Lockdown Options

Unlike most, I have on occasion found myself in situations where being confined to your hotel room or house for a week or two occurs. The odd civil conflict or good old fashion robust election will do that.

One thing that I do enjoy is taking the chance to listen to classical music. Run it in the background while you are stuck indoors, it's fantastic. Even if you aren't into classical, give it a whirl. My favourite option is streaming ABC Classical 2 as that way I get different composers and music types.

I'm / we're into my third week of total lock down here in Austria.

I'm catching up on old work and honing my Star Craft 2 skills.
I'm also trying my hand at photographing the bird life in the trees in our garden.
Not as easy as you think.

Stay healthy and stay home people.

I keep seeing images and videos of Australians out and about as if nothing is happening.

Far out ...

We have a state of emergency but no lock-down here in Vanuatu. Regardless I am 5-days into brewing a homebrew I am labeling "Lock-Down Lager". It's looking pretty skanky at the moment................

For the most part things have been fairly sensible here in adelaide.

It appears the curve is flattening here and we can expect 30-50 new transmission per day which the healthcare system can cope with so fingers crossed it stays that way.

I work in public transport and we have seen around an 80% reduction in patronage, people seem to be getting the message. It is concerning the large number of teens roming the streets though at night time, I would imagine it will only get worse as these measures are to be in place until october and police will begin to crack down on it.

Personally my covid-19 project is my trusty Nikon 28Ti , 10 rolls of Tri-X pushed to 1600 to document this whole saga, figure Ill make a photo book out of it and pass it down to my future generations .....eh it keeps me sane at least.

We have many friends and family in Milan , Bergamo and Verbania. Some of the phone calls with them has been terrifying, unfortunetly either their media has been feeding them some diabolical infomation or word of mouth and Chinese whispers reigns supreme.

OMG!
I downloaded FM2020 yesterday.
Have not played it since the 2009 version.
Can's stop playing.
It's excellent, I'm loving it all over again!

Well I'm heading into another 6 weeks and now stage 4 lockdown. Starting to really worry about the effects this will have on my children missing school.

Unlucky mate, really feel for the people of Victoria, such a tiny fraction of people doing the wrong thing has been catastrophic. I wish you and your family well. Hopefully these new measures are the key to getting back to some sort of normal sooner.
