Im not 100% sure the UKs exit will be as we may think.

Parliment can overrule the referendum and good ol Boris is already putting the idea out there that article 50 of the lisbon treaty does not need to be initiated right away. He also seems to be positioning himself as the more progressive of the leave camp.

Is there an english polititian who is willing to lead their country and sign a document that appears to be the death warrant of the of the UK. Im not sure anyone wants to put their name to that.

And England hold the rest of Europe in limbo till they decide what is good for them rather than looking at what is good for all of Europe?

I now believe that if they wish to leave then the sooner the better for everyone.

But I tell you Shin, I never thought I'd be living in the middle of something like this.
There are many Euroskeptic parties and groups all over Europe just waiting for their turn.
Interesting times...

If england do leave and hit a recession i think it will be enough to sway any future countries from leaving and i think the EU will make sure this happens with strict negotiations.

I hear you on the Eurosceptic groups, what is most alarming is their stance on immigration Is just like Trumps. Im astounded how quickly people forget our mistakes of the past and listen to their propaganda.

We shall overcome.
Vytenis Andriukaitis, who reacted with visible dismay to Ukip leader’s Brussels speech, criticises Farage’s ‘toxic untruths’

“The EU is changing as well,” he adds. “For me its future lies in social justice and security. This is the way forward. And only together, with the EU member states, with the European parliament, and with a decisive European council – avoiding the cacophony and constant bashing of Brussels – can we achieve this together.”

Boris Johnson announces he will not stand for pm. Interesting.

Michael Goves wifes email is leaked ( purposely or not ? ) that "Rupert Murdoch instinctively dislikes Boris" particularly without the backing of michael gove.

Michael Gove announces he is putting his hat in the ring for pm.

The real powers are playing their hands from the shadows.

The "Leaves" do not have a plan and are making this all up as they go along.

By the way the Austrian Presidential election has been annulled today by the constitutional court and there will be new elections.

"Technical Irregularities" is wot dun it...

The "good guy" only won by thirty odd thousand postal votes.
The right wing populist have us by the balls.

Hell, it's kicking off all over Europe.

Out of curiosity, what is the average age freedom party voters?

My perception is the older generations in the western world seem to be going further to the right mostly out of fear. While the younger voters are making a swing further left ( i realise older voters are traditionally more conservative but recently it seems to be a flood rather than a trickle)

My theory is the next 10-15 years are going to be tough but the younger progressive vote in australia, uk, usa and europe will be increasingly prominent as younger voters begin to out number the baby boomers.

For example, trump is seriously bad news! But the fact that bernie sanders is still in the race and has the younger vote is hugely promising!

I dont want to come across like im pushing a particular brand of politics because im not. I just look forward to the day where not supporting casual rascism or inequality doesnt automatically mean you are from the left side of politics.

The Freedom Party voters are mainly male and are spread right through the age groups but worryingly there are many younger people listening to them and voting for them.

If the brits knew boris would not step up to be pm and farrage would step down after a leave vote would they have voted to leave in the first place?

Why did they put their trust in those two the first place?
