Enjoyment does not make thing right

Enjoyment does not make thing right.

There seems to be a general thought that enjoyment of something makes it right. Everything becomes subjective to a persons enjoyment and there is nothing called truth.

I reject this type of thinking. There is right and wrong, things which are wrong can be enjoyed, things that right do not have to be enjoyed.

I just hate when you make a point and the reply is, well that is all right for you to think like that but let others think another way. If you disagree with something say why or shut up. This it is all subjective is just a load of shit.

I don't want to start an argument but things arent always as clear as right/wrong. What you perceive to be right or wrong is your opinion. There are certain things that are of course true and untrue like me saying that AUFC didn't just win the championship on the weekend would be untrue. However if I told you that God did not exist because I am an atheist, but you are a Christian and you know that god exists, who is right or wrong in that situation?

Facts don't matter, truth doesn't matter, authority doesn't matter, nothing matters but do/think/say whatever you feel. That seems to be the attitude that goes around.

Facts do matter but interpretation of those facts lead to differing perspectives.

It's 16 degrees outside - is that cold?

What about for someone who lives in Antarctica?

What about for someone who lives in Coober Pedy?

Everything is relative.

There is all this tolerance nonsense. Either accept or reject.
Why should I tolerate an opinion that is wrong?
Why shouldn't put forward my opinion?

We live in a society where everybody gets a say in how things are run, vote for the government even humans don't have a clue how to run things. That is why things are in such a mess. I don't have a clue about economics or anything like that but I am supposed to vote in an election on which group of people can do best with the economy. Why should idiots like me get to vote? Surely there is a better way that democracy.

The world would be a much better place without us humans destroying. It probably would be a much better place even if it took a nuclear holocaust to wipe use out. So much evil pervades this planet.

We have an election, people are going to vote, the smart, the stupid, the wise, the idiots but nothing is going to change. Humans will rule, humans will make mistakes, humans will be evil, the world will continue to plunge further and further and further. Misery will contine, death will continue. Humans will have no solutions, EVER.
A striving after happiness, a striving after enjoyment, a striving for fulfilment that can never happen because death will always be the end, an enemy that humans cannot overcome.

And so this thread comes full circle, enjoyment not truth or facts or right, being the goal. Enjoyment trumping everything, just do what feels right being the catch cry.
