I cant be the only one who watches every race religiously ?

Round 1 in Melbourne this weekend.

Every F1 session live on fox sports all year long!! Gotta be happy with that.

Im obviously on the daniel ricciardo bandwagon. My wife is stuck between a rock and a hard place being italian is a Ferrari fanatic but cannot stand sebastian vetal LOL.

Personally im just hoping for a better season then last year mercedes dominance became boring.

Anyone going to a race this year?

Yeah I try to watch every race. I was excited for the McLaren-Honda link up again but it seems I'll have to hold off on any podium expectations for some time.

I fear Mercedes will dominate again. which I don't really mind but I am hoping Daniel has another big year.

11 card finished, what a boring race.

Not pleased with foxtels coverage either, they dont even have an anchor man to tell you what happened during the ad break.

Ended up watching tens coverage and enjoyed mark webbers input

I liked the idea of the split screen ad breaks on Fox but I think they'll improve how it's presented over the year.

In general, getting most of the sky sports UK coverage was great. Upgrading to HD so looking forward to how that looks too.

Yeah the slip screen was good but you still have no idea if anything interesting happens after the break because no anchor man clues you in as channel ten used to with the sky coverage

HD is infinetly better then channel ten.

I guess im a little annoyed at just how many adds they showed during the race compared to channel ten considering one is free and one requires paid subscription

The Melbourne GP is the most boring race on the F1 calendar and all the teams know it. Whoever gets his nose in front on the first corner generally wins. What a pathetic first 'race' (and I use the term advisedly) for the code that bills itself as the pinnacle of motorsport.

Yeah the split screen pissed me off. All this talk of "uninterrupted" coverage then I have to pay to listen to ads. Ten's coverage ended up being better sadly.
Hopefully Fox fixes that.

Apparently there was an issue with the rights for the Aus GP so they had to show ads. Bizarre but the rest of the races should be ad free.

Is that a scheduling thing or is it cancelled?

Its rotated yearly between the Nurburing and Hockenheim.

The new owner of the Nurburing is not willing to pay the F1 fees so it was offered to hockenheim for the second year in a row but could not afford it at late notice

was thinking about going to the Malaysian GP but after seeing the weather I'm glad i didn't. Malaysian GP is always a gamble as its right on the line of the wet and dry season so you never know what you will get.

Having said that its so damn cheap for decent tickets compared to melbourne or singapore.

Reds come first today but ill be flicking back to F1, apparently there is a cricket game on today also ? cricket....who cares :P
