Just bottled my second batch.
I started with an IPA and now I'm trying the Coopers Canadian Blonde.
Anyone else brewing?

I would love to start.
I am going to give home winemaking a go too - helping out the father-in-law with the 2014 vintage out of his backyard, looking forward to this!

Yeah any sort of home booze is a winner in my books especially my bankbooks!
I was talking to the guy at my local home brew shop and he was talking about spirits. He reckons its $800 to get started and within 4 batches you would have your money back.

Nice.
I used to work with a bloke who distilled his own bourbon ... good stuff it was too!

slight off topic
but anyone looking for a new beer on a summers night i HIGHLY recommend "Stone And Wood Pale ale".
Dan Murphy's have just stopped selling it
( its hard for micro brewers to sell in any great mass ) but can be bought online and is on tap at the Botanic Bar ( corner of north/ east tce.
Thank me later

Are you a member of any brewing groups / clubs Stuckey? I was thinking of going along to the Adelaide Amateur Winemakers & Brewers Club but have no idea whether it will be a closed sort of clique, or if they would welcome beginners that don't have much (or any) experience yet.

No I'm not. But I would say if you're a novice keen to learn I doubt many would turn you away.
I think its like here, if you just introduce yourself people will welcome you!
I'm still annoyed I missed the Craft Beer Rising last weekend.

Started at Mountain Goat pale ale today.
I like my hops so I used the hops that came with it and bought some cascade hops as well.
I hop its good!

Just cracked my hopped brew. Definitely my best brew yet. I certainly recommend giving hops a try.
