Welcome to Adelaide & (the Aus version of) the mighty Reds!
Depends what sort of a game day experience you're after I suppose, I go with a few mates from my club around your age & a bit older (I'm 31) but we usually tend to just catch up at the ground rather than boozing on before & after, but you'd be more than welcome to come sit with us. Also I'm sure if 'active support' is your thing you'd be able to meet a bunch of the north end blokes just by going over there, saying gday, and joining in.
One thing I reckon would be good fun is a WATR forum meetup. Or it could be just a bunch of slightly odd dudes wearing red shirts standing in a room together. Whatever.

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

From experience doing the catch up is hard work, it has taken years for the 442 lads to start to say hello IRL. Friendlies are the best opportunity and supporter events. I am always happy to say g'day, match days I have my son and next door neighbours son so it is a bit harder catching up!

Just show your face at somewhere like the Hope Inn pre/post game or at the Elephant (usually) if we're playing away.
The rest of it should flow from that. We're not all elitist twats (well, most of us )

Then you should have plenty of quality beer to enjoy the game with. We usually get two or three South Aussies to Score Bar in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for Saturday games.I'm in Austria.
EDIT: Now I think of it though "beers" is probably the wrong term for Austria as the games from Petchendorf seem to be accompanied by tea and vegemite on toast.

Way to early for beer here.
Sweet black Tea for the first half and black coffee and toast for the second.
I'm afraid I'm out of Vegemite till my next visitor from Oz arrives in Dec...

It's available somewhere in Vienna also but the ones brought over by family and friends always taste of home...
(I'm going all sentimental now.)
