Bruce Djite's team won last night which gives them a slim chance of avoiding relegation. They need to win by 3 goals in the final round next week against Incheon to leap frog above them out of the relegation zone.

You're not kidding.
If there was any one player i would have back at a heartbeat, it would be Bruce Djite.

And such a typical Bruuuuuce goal!
Respect to him!

A few more goals like that above and Ange has to consider him for the national team.

The way Ange uses Juric. I really think Bruce would be of use. Even if its just to assist Juric in the art of holding the ball up.

An Aussie winger setting up and scoring goals in a high level league. What do you think Ange is that worth dropping old dusty boots Kruse for?

Goodwin plays on the left, Kruse plays on the right, they are not really competing for the same spot in the squad. If Ange keeps the new formation with only one wide player on each side then Goodwin is competing against Smith, Gersbach and Behich, perhaps Elder in the future as well, for a left wing back place in the squad.

Well Smith is hardly playing as well so Goody can have his spot! :)

I heard McGowan is off to Paços de Ferreira in Portugal. Not where I would have expected him to go. Best of luck to him on this next challenge.

Goodwin has not been playing a great deal of late either, nor has Gersbach and Elder for different reasons. Goodwin did not even start the latest game, came on at half time and had a massive second half. I would have him in the squad along with Smith. Behich is the player he would replace who is actually getting game time but is crap.

Yeah I find it strange sometimes that a player that has not done a great deal somewhere sudden moves to a league that appear far beyond they ability and they do well. Its like Kruse. I can't actually recall him ever having an outstanding game for the Socceroos, yet he was part of a Bundesliga club for years, although he was injured for quite some time.

I cannot remember who it was against but Kruse had a pretty good game the game he dribbled through the defence to score a very nice goal. He was a better player than Leckie before his injury problems but since then he has really struggled.
