I'm not as excited as last time. I was over there so watching games was far easier.
Although the early game is still at a decent time here.
Not really sure who to go for this time round!

The "football time zone difference", yuk.

As you're probably aware the Austrians qualified so it's party time here at least for the group games.
BBQ at our place next Saturday before the Austria v Portugal game.

Thanks for the invite! :D

Oh England what are you doing!
Im quite a fan of Hodgson but he balls that right up.
How could he leave Sterling who did nothing but give the ball away all night on and take Rooney who was controlling the game so well.
Not sure how Lallana stayed on either.

England seemed to loose focus after Rooney went off.

The game against Wales will be huge.

sevengoals was meaning to ask this before the match but is there much of a rivalry between Austria and Hungary considering their historical allegiances?

Farken...

I was warning whoever asked me about the dangers of complacency weeks ago, damn it.
I told family, friends and even strangers in cafes that this was THE game for the Hungarians.
Regardless of the setting this was always the game they would want to win ever since the first one back in 1902.

The Hungarians were up for it, Austria, I'm afraid were not even though they had the better quality players.

Now they need to beat Portugal on Saturday.
Hopefully they have woken up.

It should be a nice day Saturday so BBQ is still on.

Wales! The surprises continue! What a tournament.

I'd imagine Robson-Kanu is going to have a few more clubs interested in his services!
