Cheers seven, appreciate these updates from our man on the ground.

What's the feeling from the club having had there for a bit? Did they expect him to push for a starting spot, or was he a squad builder with potential all along?

At the moment it's hard to say.
Sturm lost about 5 first team players over the winter to transfers and long term injuries and they needed to stock up their midfield.
I think Jeggo having an Austrian passport and being "available" made it easy for them to sign him to bulk up the midfield.
I don't know why he was out this week but I'll have a look at see if I can find anything.
I think he needs to work hard and his chances will come.

I have not seen anything concerning Jimmy Jeggo in the press but the Sturm Graz midfield has again been hit by injury and they have a game tonight against Red Bull Salzburg.
Maybe tonight is a chance for him.

We'll see in a couple of hours...

James Jeggo was in the Sturm Graz match squad which played out a 0-0 draw with Red Bull Salzburg in Graz.
Jimmy watched from the bench.

Isn't that the big Austrian rivalry?
Hopefully he gets a chance to play!

No, not really
Everyone doesn't like Red Bull Salzburg because they are super cashed up by the Red bull drink owner Dietrich Mateschitz.

He bought Austria Salzburg who's club colours were purple and he changed the name to Red Bull Salzburg and the club colours to Red after his company colours.

A group of fans actually broke away and re-formed Austria Salzburg and have been working their way up through the regional leagues towards the Bundesliga.

Sturm Graz's cross town rival GAK went broke in 2008 and was dissolved in 2012.
Now the Sturm fans turn up the aggro at the two Vienna clubs, Rapid Wien and Austria Wien.

Yeah I heard about the break away club. What a great story. Amazing to see such crowds at such a low level of football.

Half time.
Mattersburg 1 - 0 Sturm Graz

James Jeggo is not in the match day squad.
No team news about him.

Poor bugger.
