David Beckham has chosen Miami as the location for the Major League Soccer team he intends to set up.
The former England captain is thought to be able to buy the US franchise for a discounted $25m (£15.6m) from MLS.

Fantastic to read. Florida has always seemed a soft area for football in USA. Also wonderful to read a player who has made much of his fortune from football invests it back in to an area that needs it.
I know Timmy Cahill has a development academy over here but surely some of our players who have made millions over the years could throw their money and name behind a new HAL franchise? I reckon the money made out of WSW and a couple of big name Socceroos throwing a bit of cash at a new club would be a great way to get the ball rolling.
