Or should that be "blows for full time"

I wonder who will be the next manager at United?

Crazy to think he's been united's manager since the same year I was born! Shame he won't be making the trip down under to coach for the all stars game.

I was 26 when he took over.

Whatever your football allegiances you have to "take your hat off to him".

I don't think any manager will spend so long at one club again.
Ever.

Thirteen league titles for United, two European Cups, two Intercontinental World Cups, one European Cup-Winners' Cup, four FA Cups, four League Cups. Does the Community Shield count? There were 10 of them.

Best manager of all time surely?

David Moyes to take the reins I've heard.

He's a good coach IMO. What he's done at Everton with their budget is astounding. Year after year they're competitive.

Reckon Sir Alex is going to try and put his efforts into fixing up Scottish football now?

Pity we signed Josep already, if only we were patient :p

I know I am bias but he is undoubtedly the greatest club manager ever. To do what he has done in such a competitive league is nothing in my mind short of genius.

I feel Jose has the personality to take over the reigns and my vote as well, but everyone is pointing towards Moyes. I have a soft spot for Everton so for their sake I hope he doesn't come but Man Utd could certainly do worse.

Clearly he has been punching above his weight for a long time. Now it will be interesting to see how he goes with a fairly fat cheque book in his hand?

It will be very interesting to experience this transition.
I'm curious to see how it works.

(Rooney wants out by the looks of it.)
