Sepp wants penalties gone

Postby Stuckey Sat May 26, 2012 12:24 am

FA president Sepp Blatter has labelled penalty shoot-outs "a tragedy" and challenged Franz Beckenbauer to come up with an alternative.

Beckenbauer, honorary president of Bayern Munich, is also head of the Football Task Force 2014 which has been charged with recommending rule changes and Blatter said the body should now look at penalty shoot-outs.

Please tragic! Yes its sucks to lose but unless you're gonna start giving everyone a medal just for showing up its how it has to be!

This reeks of stupidity! I worry a half baked mickey mouse idea is going to be implimented before its properly thought out!
Time to Djbate!
