The commissioner explained that the league has stepped in to take the lead in finding a suitable stadium location within NYC.
Thats not the bombshell. The league plans to set the team up themselves and once playing bring owners in to buy it, for a pricetag wait for it....$100M! Make Clive and Nathan Tinkler complaining about their fees seem pathetic! That's pretty much the entire FFA budget!
And they are confident of bringing someone in!
This does appear very similar to West Sydney just I think the MLS are talking about setting up the club in 18 months not 5 like the FFA seem to be planning to do.
