Much the same as the idea put forward that AUFC wanted to have a side in a FFSA league.
Real Salt Lake head coach Jason Kreis has an innovative solution to improve Major League Soccer's youth development

A professional reserve league with lower league opposition could help MLS hold onto and develop the country's best talent, Kreis suggests.

It does make perfect sense from a development point of view but will it create anamosity towards the club from the supporters of those local sides?
This seems to be just another issue that was big news for a fortnight or so then just drops of the FFA radar.
