Reading fan Jon McGhee has been refunded the price of his replica shirt after taking the club to court for selling his favourite player Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The 13-year-old supporter of Middlesbrough used his birthday money to buy the Reading shirt with Sigurdsson’s name on the back in July last year.
In August the Championship side decided to sell the Icelandic midfielder to German club 1899 Hoffenheim.
Jon’s father approached Reading asking for a refund for his son's shirt but when the club refused, he decided to take his claim to the county court in Middlesbrough.

Haha how ridiculous. I suppose in the end it was cheaper and far less messy for reading to throw some cash the kids way than battling him in the courtroom! I have my lawyer on standby just in case Rooney leaves Man U! lol

Maybe we should all buy AUFC strips with Flores' across the back to encourage the club to keep him

I bet all the people with Cornthwaite on the back are tempted.
