ever since Agostinho informed me of the Amini deal/situation, i've felt a little robbed... altho Leckie is a couple of years older so he probably wouldn't have been happy not going to Germany straight away.

Also, CCM negotiated that as part of Amini's sale. Leckie was a free agent though so we had no leverage.

A positive article here in 442 about Leckie being hunted by Aberdeen

He was only on for a minute or two last night, however it was in the 3-1 win over Bayern Munich. That must have been a good day for the Möchengladbach supporters

Leckie ist kaum auf dem Feld, dann prüft er Neuer mit einem Flachschuss. So kommt er nicht am Nationalkeeper vorbei.

But he won't beat the national team keeper with that"

To think, this time last year we were thinking he would be playing for a bundesliga 2 club , but next season he could be a member of a chamions league club

I watched the highlights last night and Leckie looks like he has bulked up.
Shoulders, thighs.
I could be mistaken but he looks quite "beefy".

And the shot that "did not bother Neuer" was hit hard, flat and true. It was not bad considering he had just ran on the pitch.

I saw that. Given the way that Borussia Möchengladbach are performing in the Bundesliga I'm pretty happy with the fact he is getting snippets. It means he is on the verge of the first team and is developing well which is great news indeed.

I'm just hoping that he gets a run at some stage in the Green and Gold as I suspect we are going to need him in the final round of qualification for Brazil.

How old is he now? 19 or 20?

Really goes to show that despite some saying we have no talent coming through there really is some guys to be really excited about!

All of a sudden we have leckie, ryan, birra, amini, abini, bulut, tombides, melling , kamara , antonis.........all with potentially big futures ahread of them and thats only to name a few!

McGowanx2 Herd, Williams family, Devere, Oar, plus the bunch of kids playing as full backs in the A-League that could step up.

tbh an attacking setup that contains Troisi, Rukalphabet, Leckie, Burns and Amini amongst others looks nice.
There's also Aaron Mooy kicking around in scotland as an AM though not sure what he's like.
