Archie way deserves his socceroos spot more!
Hah, it pains us all. Though I will admit Leckie is carrying a niggling ankle injury which is why he did not play a full game so perhaps his non-selection is prudent in this instance.

Leckie may not even want to be selected fr the roos, he is probably more fcused on holding down a starting position.....or..... Dare i say it.......he is holding out to play for malta?

recovering from an ankle injury. He's only good off the bench at the moment so not worth risking in a friendly.

Leckie has scored the winner on fridays game.
EXCITING young Australian attacker Mathew Leckie has scored his second goal in as many games to help FSV Frankfurt defeat Sonnenhoft Grossaspach 2-1 in Germany's DFB Pokal on Friday.

Leckie, who has been loaned to FSV from top flight Borussia Moenchengladbach for the entire season, continued his bright start to the season with the winner on 22 minutes.

The former Adelaide United man had scored for FSV last weekend, in their 3-1 2.Bundesliga triumph over Hertha BSC.

Sebastian Szimeyer had opened the scoring on seven minutes for the Regionalliga Sudwest side, before Yannick Stark levelled on 21 minutes.

Only a minute later, Leckie, who played the entire 90 minutes, put FSV in front with a header.

The goal came from a hopeful punt forward which caused confusion between keeper Christopher Knett and defender Dennis Grab right on the edge of the box, allowing Leckie to pop in and head into an empty net.

Slap my wrist!
I have not been paying attention.

Leckie scores 2 in two and I read all about it here.
Gentlemen, thank you for reminding me.

Yes I just saw that...

He was hit by a hard tackle and after some treatment on the sidelines can not continue.
What exactly is wrong is not yet clear.

Hurt his neck,

Apparently the match stopped for quite for a long period as there were fears there may have been nerve damage
