They've kicked off recently with Cambodia getting a flogging from Jordan, 7-0, and the only upset of sorts being India defeating Myanmar 0-1 in Yangon.
The interesting point is the game between North Korea and Malaysia postponed as the North Koreans were holding all Malaysians in the country hostage until the body of Kim Jung An was returned after his assassination in KL Airport. The Malaysians have just been allowed out of the country and the body returned however it remains to be seen if the Malayians are prepared to send their football team to Pyongyang or if a neutral venue is agreed upon.
Interesting times.

Re: Asian Cup Qualifiers
Match Day 3 of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers kicks off on Sep 5.
Matches of interest are:
North Korea v Lebanon - are Lebanon rediscovering their long lost mojo? Tuesday should shed some light on this.
Cambodia v Vietnam - will the match finish without a fight or a staged walk-out from one of the teams? My money is on a fight following a bad tackle.

Lebanon pulled off a 2-2 draw with North Korea in Pyongyang. Maybe they are getting their mojo back after all.

After the latest round of qualifiers India, Palestine and for all intensive purposes, Oman, have qualified with 2 games still to go. By the end of the next round on Nov 14 Lebanon and Jordan can be expected to join them.

Re: Asian Cup Qualifiers
Last round of qualifiers were played on the 27th and joining the 10 qualified teams (those that competed in the final round of World Cup Qualification) are: India, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, North Korea, Jordan, Vietnam, Oman, Palestine, Bahrain, Turkmenistan, Philippines & Yemen.
No real surprises there though Taiwan almost made it through and Hong Kong didn't show the same form they displayed in the penultimate round of WCQ which was no doubt dissappointing for them.
