Another aspect of the ACL squad is that it's a 30 man squad. So it will give us a chance to see which of the NYL players the club really rates.

Do we have confirmation that the draw is on the 12th? I can't navigate the shit AFC website for the life of me…

It is posted as such on the Wikipedia page, though I agree the AFC site is a right mess. They have an events schedule with a number of things on it (primarily competitions) however the ACL draw is absent.

A Google searched showed it to be on the Wanderer's site as well.

Brisbane Roar are facing Yadanarbon (Myanmar) on the 31st of January and if they get past that have to go to Korea on the 7th of Feb to face Jeju United.

Jeju is a nice island however early Feb isn't exactly the best time to be visiting.
Aloisi will fit in there as they have many statues erected in his honor :)

Haha ok! I hope the Roar don't get any stiff decisions!

Yeah I haven't bothered with the AFC site for sometime.
The ACL wiki page is generally accurate.

I wouldnt be surprised if jeju use time time wasting tactics if they are winning to get a rise out of roar...

If mclaren leaving roar rumour are true, they risk lining up with a flacid attack.

They needed to score goals; it's no good if they keep smacking the upright.

So we have Jeonbuk, who took out this year's ACL and Jiangsu who have Sainsbury at the centre of their defense. We will not know who else joins the group until the end of January.

April is the away game for Jeonbuk which I may have a chance to attend :)

Incidentally the final position is, if I have this correct, between Bangkok United/Johor Darul Tazim and "Japan 4".

In April I may well be in Kyushu, so can catch a short flight or the ferry to Korea. Then again there is also a chance I will be in either of Philippines/Myanmar/Mongolia/Solomon Islands :)
