We're not in the EAFF sub-confederation, we're in the ASEAN FF. We were invited last time. But now assuming we finally joined a sub-confederation, we don't get another invite.

Sad their is a quantum leap in quality in the ASEAN Conferderation.
Although I would love to see Australia play in it.
Disappointing that we join this confederation and show little to no interest in playing in it.
I would love to see the Socceroos in the 2016 ASEAN tournament and like the EAFF last time send a young squad.

I reckon it'd be good way to blood some of the fringe Socceroos. Hopefully they enter the tournament.
