Still, what was the bloke thinking- even if it was out, just kick it back to the keeper or something.

Al Ahli couldn't really make anything happen against Guangzhou with a game that finished 0-0. Guangzhou played a much more conservative game and dampened all of Al Ahli's efforts. The return leg is looking like a tough ask for Al Ahli. Kudos to Guangzhou away fans who turned up in numbers.

Not a bad game in the end. Guangzhou 1-0, though Al Ahli were knocking on the door at the end with only 10 men on the pitch. Good fun to watch with only a magical moment from Elkenson separating the sides.
