Great result for WSW, I'm sure they would have taken that!First legs ends 0-0.
Great opportunity for WSW to win this on home soil now.
FC Seoul didn't look that impressive.

Second leg this Wednesday. Is that the same time as the Adelaide United v Adelaide City match?

Re: 2014 Asian Champions League
At first I didn't want them to go this far to keep our record but now I think its 5 or 6 years later, the league is much much stronger and I think its a reflection on the whole aleague if one of our teams can win it. I just hope they have to share their prize money with all clubs as we had to do IIRC.

Re: 2014 Asian Champions League
WSW are on the cusp of the biggest trophy. Goodluck to them next week.
2014 Asian Champions League
Congrats WSW. Monumental achievement.
Edit: just saw the highlights. Looked like an Al Hilal player spat at/on Spira at the end - what a disgrace.
Al Hilal denied 3 stone cold penalties. Unbelievable.

To be fair though the non penalties made up for covic having a laser beam in his eye the whole match.Congrats WSW. Monumental achievement.

I think I recall Poppa saying in an interview after losing the Sydney Derby that he looks forward to getting the run of the refs as they are supposed to even out over the course of the season (after saying that some big decisions went against them in that game).
Don't think Poppa can complain about a referee for the rest of his career! 3 blatant penalties turned down isn't just good luck, that's a borderline miracle.
