Evergrande Dumptrucks

I've called them that because I'm guessing thats what the keep their money in.
Apparently one of their trucks has dropped past Marcelo Lippi's place. As he's soon to be named their new coach.
According to Titan, Lippi, 60, who has been heavily linked with the post in the past after admitting in March there had been contact, will arrive in Guangdong on Wednesday or Thursday and could be paid as much as €10 million (£7.9m) per season.

I didn't think Lee Jang-Soo had long as he ignored the clubs imposed 9 game ban on Conca and played him anyway (topping their group in the ACL in the process mind you)

Now they want Kaka or Rooney!

Considering he only just signed a new deal with MUFC last season the transfer fee would be astronomical!
Guangzhou Evergrande owner Xu Jia Ying has his sights set on bringing Manchester United star Wayne Rooney to China.

Corriere dello Sport says Xu has a package worth £325,000-a-week waiting for Rooney's camp to consider.

Xu is already in contact with Real Madrid ace Kaka and hopes with his signing he can convince an even bigger name in the guise of Rooney.

I can't imagine Wayne Rooney being able to make the cultural shift, no matter how much they offered

Heard rumours Conca wants to leave. He's handed in his transfer request. Anyone in need of a Argentinian attacking midfielder?

Guangzhou Evergrande are nearing closer to Parma forward Jonathan Biabiany.

The 25-year-old has been subject to much interest this January transfer window, with Guangzhou coach Marcello Lippi working hard to bring the Frenchman to China.

Alfredo Pedulla of Sport Italia reports the story of Guangzhou’s interest in Biabiany. Pedulla adds that the Chinese club would have reached an agreement in principle for a €7 million transfer.

Biabiany has played 19 times for Parma this season, scored one goal and provided two assists for the Gialloblu.

You just wonder where this is headed?
I wonder if mainstream Australia will ever grasp an understanding of the magnitude of Asian football.
