ACL Group Stage Day 3

Postby Stuckey Tue Apr 03, 2012 7:47 pm

ATM CCM are 1-1 with Seongnam. And Endo just scored for Gamba with an absolute cracker! 1-0 Gamba over Bunyodkor. Very handy for AUFC!

Certainly our group just tightened up somewhat!

Buriram play tonight which should be interesting.

From memory bunyodkor and gamba have had atleast one heavry defeat each, goal difference may be very handy come matchday 6 .

Very happy to be proven wrong about Brisbane. Played their normal style and almost got the three point away in Korea. Unlucky slip from Jurman resulting in him professionally taking out the forward in on goal got him sent off which changed the game for Brisbane completely but Nicholls missing a getable chance near the end cost them dearly. IMO another overated kid coming through the ranks in the HAL.

Its good to see an aussie club play the way they do in acl.

But imo, they drop points to standing applause from the media.

Matchday 2 we dominated gamba in such a way that no aussie club has ever done to the japanese. Not just of the score board but every position of the park!

Im all for aussie clubs playing open attacking football, but this is not the special olympics a lost points are still lost points!
