J-League

Finished with a flourish with three teams in the mix to win it for the final day. Nagoya Grampus & Gamba Osaka both won however leaders Kashiwa Reysol defeated Uruwa Reds in Saitama on the final day to clinch the title by 1 point, an impressive feat considering they were playing in J-2 last year.

Uruwa Reds scraped through missing the drop by 3 points (and some goal difference). Not a good season for them at all.

Very impressive for a promoted team to win the title.

It is also the umpteenth time that the J-League has been decided on the last day. They certainly know how to finish with a flourish!
