Yeah I reckon they will. But a horror world cup could change that.Looking at getting tickets now. I wonder if Australia's QF and SF will sell out before the tournament starts.
With Korea in our group we really could finish either 1st or 2nd which will mean we could possibly play in 2 different destinations for our QF and SF (provided of course we make it that far).
Does anyone think Australia's games will sell out?

Re: 2015 Asian Cup
Challenge Cup is in full swing to determine who will take the final spot for the Asian Cup.
In Group A Palestine are looking the goods with Myanmar and Maldives equal on points for 2nd. In the final group game Myanmar face Kyrgyzstan and Maldives face Palestine. Despite being hosts I don't think Maldives will survive this encounter though Kyrgyzstan could beat Myanmar which would leave all three on 3 points and hence the murky world of formulas will come to the fore.
In Group B Philippines and Afghanistan are neck and neck, with Afghanistan ahead on Goals for. Final day sees Afghanistan take on Laos, who are now out of the tournament, and the Philippines take on Turkmenistan, who can go through if they win. I can see Afghanistan winning this group if Laos, already the whipping boys, roll over and expect the Philippines to come in 2nd.

What happens after that? Semis and final or just the group winners play off?

What a story it would be if Afghanistan made it to the asian cup.

One semi final is involving dream holiday destinations the other you probably wouldn't send you're worst enemy to!

Re: 2015 Asian Cup
crossing that bridge when we come to it. the road trip will cost a bit of do$h so going to be hopeful and wait to head back to Syndey for the final. TBH I would probably still go just to celebrate the tournament being in AUS.
Re: 2015 Asian Cup
Yeah I'm also going to wait and see how it pans out. Semi final on Australia Day would be awesome!
I just booked flights - $50 from Adelaide to Melb, $35 Melb to Syd and $49 Syd to Bris per person.
I couldn't drive for that much.
