Guangzhou Evergrande has smashed the Chinese transfer record after it swooped on Argentine midfielder Dario Conca for US$10 million ($9.28 million) from Brazilian club Fluminese.
Conca, who was voted player of the season in Brazil, signed for the Chinese Super League leader on a three-and-a-half-year deal, according to Sina.com.

He's apparently going to be the third highest paid player in the world!
I think we might have got ripped off for Marcos!

Someone must be pumping money in because I can't see how they can pay it off with extra shirt sales & gate receipts.

Clearly they just want to win the ACL. If they wanted to sell t-shirts they would have signed Kezman or even Drogba.

Real Madrid and Chinese Super League leader Guangzhou Evergrande have agreed to a deal that could see player exchanges and the Spanish giant opening an academy in China.
This club just goes from strength to strength!
