2011 AFC President's Cup

Postby blahblah Wed May 11, 2011 6:00 pm

For those who don't know the President's Cup is an annual competition featuring teams from emerging nations that are so little known they don't even make the "obscure teams you keep an eye out for" thread on the World Football forum.

Group A is being held in Phnom Penh and I intend to down for a few of the games. Group features those well known sides:
Phnom Penh Crown (Cambodia)
Neftchi Kochkor-Ata (Kyrgyzstan)
Abahani Limited (Bangladesh) .... great name by the way
Don Bosco (Sri Lanka)

It should be fun B)

on Saturday I made it for half of Abahani vs Neftchi (it was damn hot; game had to be stopped twice for drinks) and watched Don Bosco v Phnom Penh. At this stage Neftchi and Phnom Penh appear a lot better technically. I worked through lunch so I can head off for the 4pm game between Phnom Penh and Abahani today. It's been fun to be honest.
