With the J. League finally coming to an end over the weekend, last night saw the awards ceremony to commemorate the best players, teams, managers and referees of the season.
The winners are as follows:
Manager of the Year: Dragan "Pixy" Stojkovic (Nagoya Grampus)
Fair Play Award:
Team - Sanfrecce Hiroshima
Player - Tomoaki Makino (Sanfrecce Hiroshima, DF)
Best Young Player: Takashi Usami (Gamba Osaka, MF)
Golden Boot Award: Joshua Kennedy (Nagoya Grampus) and Ryoichi Maeda (Jubilo Iwata), 17 goals

Nakamura is one of the best five midfielders? I didn't see him in action much but when I did he was decent but not dominating.
Narazaki is a good choice for MVP, not often goal keepers feature in these things.

congratuslations to Josh, well deserved spot in the best XI from the small pieces of J.League i have seen this season.
fully agree. don;t know the guy, but agree that keepers don't often get this kind of credit when they should... but i'm not just saying that coz i'm a keeper myselfNarazaki is a good choice for MVP, not often goal keepers feature in these things.

Narazaki was the first choice 'keeper for Japan for quite a while (until this World Cup) and will probably return to that post for the Asian Cup.
He's a very good goalkeeper and one of the main reasons (along with Tulio) that Nagoya's defence was so difficult to penetrate for most of the season. Everyone should look for highlights videos of him, because some of his saves are excellent.
