Re: Qatar 2011
Qatar's first goal was utterly fantastic. China were utterly rubbish all game, no creativity & such a limited game plan.

Re: Qatar 2011
I missed the game but saw them against Kuwait where they more of less went hacking through the game. I assume it didn't work this time around.Qatar's first goal was utterly fantastic. China were utterly rubbish all game, no creativity & such a limited game plan.
Uzbekistan and Kuwait played a very interesting encounter with Fahad and his head band looking dangerous all night however Geynrikh really played well and had the Kuwaitis on the back foot all night. Both sides were going for the win so it was largely an open, fast game.
The China result means the group is still open and will be decided in the last round. Personally I hope either Qatar or Kuwait go through as I haven't found China's style of late terribly easy on the eye.

Which, dare I say, has been stock standard for China for about 6 years.Qatar's first goal was utterly fantastic. China were utterly rubbish all game, no creativity & such a limited game plan.
If Syria get a shock win over Japan, they will qualify for the next stage, but this is an absolute must-win for Japan.

Re: Qatar 2011
Jordan really looked good. Good night Saudi.
Half time with Syria & Japan. Both sides are playing open football which is making the game a good one to watch though Japan are in the ascendancy through a beautiful Honda pass, through to Kagawa who turned a player, spun on the spot and pulled the trigger to have the shot saved by a Syrian defender, ball bounces back to Maeda who instantly lays it off to Hasebe before he's cleaned up, Hasebe strikes..... goal. It's been a great game thus far and Syria have really taken it to the Japanese, but thus far the East Asian's class and energy has seen them in control of the game.

Re: Qatar 2011
wow, 2-1 to Japan. The Syrians have had a spat at the end of the game despite getting the most controversial decision (the penalty awarded to the Japanese was soft indeed, the penalty awarded to the Syrians was non-existant). Oh the drama.
I need a little lie down.

0-0
24 min
After watching the last few minutes it looks all RSK to me.
We look cumbersome coming out from defense.
But as I write Holman breaks well and Kewell wins a free just outside the Korean area...

Re: Qatar 2011
i didn't realise he was out there until it was mentioned heading into half time, i truly didn't.Can someone let Jason Culina know that the match started 45 minutes ago?
Harry should have burried that chance, and Timmy had that great chance that should of been taken 1st touch. Didn't know their RB was hot on his heels.
Their RB looks incredibly dangerous btw, very very quick on the ball.
EDIT:
Sasa lucky to still be on the park...
