2023 Asian Cup

Postby blahblah Thu Jun 02, 2022 9:37 am

Bit of chaos at the moment, as China pulled out of hosting 14 months before the event is to kick off and a ready-made replacement is required. The AFC wants to have it in the East which really only leaves Japan or South Korea able to host at such short notice. Either one is good for me :)

Expressions of Interest are due June 30.

Jordan have always been bit of an enigma, and quite a bogey side for the Socceroos. They play a much more structured game than is common in the region (hence bringing us unstuck without resorting to parking the bus), however lacked a creative midfielder and dangerous forward to make the discipline pay off. They seem to have found those players.
