VAR is involved.
Handball?
Penalty.
Handbags
And Nestory's penalty is saved ...
Fark.

Well that sums up the season.
Rubbish in both boxes as Simon Hill stated.
Nestor really the main man and a lot of average team mates around him, fair effort to lose against 10 men from 1-0 up and 15 to go

Enjoyed the night out. Good crowd. Plenty of action.
Nestory repeatedly put the ball on a plate but his teammates weren’t up to it.
His last 3 games have been very good, missed penalty aside.
We don’t deserve finals so fair enough.
Still think very little of Germain.
I’ll turn my interest to Aussie Rules and The Price of Football now.

Good crowd. 12,500.
Great TIFO. Well done Red Army.
Irankunda scored a brilliant goal and set up so many chances with balls pulled back from the byline to players who just had to hit the ball on target, and either missed or their shot was blocked in the six yard box.
Two mistakes - (1) I never felt confident when Nestory grabbed the ball for the penalty. Leave it to the chosen penalty taker. It’s not as easy as it looks. Still I can see why Carl allowed it to happen. (2) Taking Clough and Mauk off. Jovanovic for Ibusuki, fine. But we left our midfield short of experience.
Regarding the ref - &@$#% !!!!!
How many times did he wave away fouls on our players, then moments later blow for a freekick to Macarthur (sometimes for virtually identical incidents!!).
Barring a miracle that’s our season over.
Fantastic that so many people stayed back to farewell Irankunda. He was in tears. Probably partly the missed penalty, and partly the fact it’s cost us our finals hopes, but I think mostly because, despite all that, our supporters were expressing their love & appreciation. (Excellent by the Red Army to sing his song for him one last time as he walked around the ground.)

masterstroke taking off 2 of our best players in Mauk & Clough & leaving us without a midfield eh
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

As previously stated, the game was like a microcosm of our season. Early promise to raise our hopes, followed by abject failure and disappointment.
I hate losing these big games to the new teams with zero history and tradition. They had 2 fans ffs! It reminded me of the night under Coolen's final days in charge when Clive Palmer's play things turned us over at Hindmarsh, also with only 10 men coincidentally.
To rub salt into the wound I flew to Sydney this morning to start a 10 day holiday and had to share the plane with the Bulls team

Those 2 fans would have had a great evening. What a finish to the game

This. And this. And, yep, this.masterstroke taking off 2 of our best players in Mauk & Clough & leaving us without a midfield eh
And our captain (love Kitto but he's no captain) failing to give the penalty ball to Jovanovic. I'm pretty sure everyone in the stadium who knew anything about football was very, very worried when Nestory stepped up.

Kitto went over and talked with Carl while Jovanovic, Irankunda and Toure were talking about who should take it. Kitto came back and told them it was Irankunda’s.This. And this. And, yep, this.masterstroke taking off 2 of our best players in Mauk & Clough & leaving us without a midfield eh

Carl’s call. A mistake. But I can understand why he went that way with Clough already off.

They had more than 2 supporters there. When they scored each of their two goals a section of the crowd on the western side (southern end, lower, pitch side) erupted with cheering and jumping up and down. Those 2 fans would have had a great evening. What a finish to the game

I’m guessing about 15 people. I assume they didn’t want the lesser view (IMO) “away” seating and set up on the side.

Family members I would say. I was talking active support.
