My wife came home and was wondering why i was so happy until I told her we had finally won a match again.

Watching live, I felt we were in control in the first half. Our defence didn’t give the Jets any easy chances, no poor turnovers deep in our half, looked penetrating in attack. Felt like we could easily have been 0-3 up at half time. (Ibusuki point blank misses the target, irankunda with just the keeper to beat hits the post, Mauk goal ruled out for his big toe being offside.)

Second half not as clear cut, but the few moments when I was worried we might concede Delianov pulled out excellent saves.

Tonight right through the match I felt confident we would score and win. Which made a really nice change from continually feeling like we will concede and lose.

Didn't watch the match so don't have any overall opinions but that's a nice goal from Luka - great tenacity to keep the move going.

I was surprised they only had a bit over 4,000 there at the game.
I guess Newcastle are on a bad run and there's the uncertainty surrounding the lack of an owner.
But if that low crowd is usual I can understand why they're struggling to find a buyer.
