Not good enough to win that at home against a wsw squad with a few out. Defence is worse than ever, won’t win many until that is sorted out which looks unlikely with the current bunch of players.

Positives ? Hmmm....well we didn't throw in the towel after going a man down at least. In fact we pretty much dominated the game for the last 15-20 minutes. Rudan would have breathed a huge sigh of relief at the final whistle, and I would be surprised if he didn't give his players a spray afterwards for letting us back into the match despite having the numerical advantage.

Questions ? Lots...
Have Javi's legs gone ? Rightfully dragged at ht after a horror show of a first half.
Is Irankunda the most overrated teenager on the planet ? A raw talent yes, but so far off the finished article it's not funny.
Is Hiro our only real goal threat ? So many balls into the box last night, but no one to get on the end of them.
Is JD still a good keeper ? The "he must be a bit rusty" excuse is starting to wear thin. He looks shaky and low on confidence.

But perhaps the biggest question, and one that has been raised on here a few times lately, is CV still the man ? Well that's a yes from me. The last 20 minutes showed that the team are still playing for him. He has been critical of the players lately, and that can go one of two ways but I think they still believe in him. We all know he can do the job. The last 3 seasons have shown that. I am prepared to say that he has been the victim of circumstance this season, but as Carl has said himself recently, the club needs to get the recruitment right for next year. His job depends on it.

Martin aufc, I agree with 95% of our post but u got me with the last piece of ur post , now u said CV needs to get his recruitment right for next season, considering that our tight arse owners won’t spend any money , where do u think these players will come from , the child care centre , or the local pre school , because it will be kids , kids and more kids , I don’t want the owners to spent millions just want 4-5 decent pros to guide the kids is that to much to ask for

Well BP, I'm an optimistic kinda guy and I would like to think that our esteemed owners will see from the results this season that some key additions are required for next year to make the team competitive.
I don't think that the squad was that bad at the start of the season, but obviously the regular departures have taken their toll.
As you say, 4 to 5 potential new starters are probably needed. We don't pay transfer fees, so it will be a question of the recruitment team identifying the right players on the free agent market.
