Fan Representative Group (FRG)

Hi folks,

The club now has a Fan Representative Group (FRG) that is designed to facilitate the communication flow between members / supporters and the Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) - as well as the Australian Professional Leagues (APL).

I applied for this last year when the club was taking expressions of interest and was selected along with 10 other members.

We meet with the club four times a year where we can raise issues that you, the fans, have. Our next meeting will be in a month or so.

I've created a Google Form (https://forms.gle/dKiSVSqKTTxyCYAdA) where you can input any matters you want us to raise (anonymously) on your behalf. You can also add them to this forum for discussion, which I'll summarise before presenting at the meeting.

Given this is just a means of opening communication lines with the club / APL, you can raise whatever issues you want.

We are hopeful that this will create greater engagement and an improved fan experience.

By way of update, it looks like the FRG will be meeting in a week or so where I can share your feedback / questions.

I've had a few responses already - ranging from the away kit to Paramount+ issues and Unite Round logistics - so feel free to jot anything down here or in the Google Form (https://forms.gle/dKiSVSqKTTxyCYAdA) and I'll be happy to relay.

Once we've met with the club I can post the meeting minutes and feedback for you here.

Can they turn down the loudspeakers in the Eastern stand? It's like having Jarrod Walsh screaming into your ears. Last night someone turned them up bigtime! And this from an old bloke who played too much rock music early in life. Kids ears must be getting damaged.

This is where a roof all the way around would be great, as it would assist and enhance natural acoustics.

I messaged the stadium about it and they turned it down from Damaging to Painful.
If it’s the same next game then that might be my last game. It was unbearable for me.

from what I’ve seen, there’s been a number of complaints made to the club in regards to the PA system… it has been turned down since the renos, but it’s still obnoxiously loud, even on the tv coverage

surely they can sort it out!?
