2nd half has been pretty average and no complaints with the score line.

Can anyone explain why we signed Duzel for 3 years? His body of work to date is speculative at best.
But really the game was decided by two quality and experienced players in the end. Seems like the same story most seasons in that regard forAU especially in the games that matter.

Beaten by the better team.
Best we could have hoped for was 0-0 but in the end there was a feeling of inevitability about the first goal.

Nestor offered very little. He doesn't warrant a starting spot on current form.

On a side note I was very disappointed with the Red Army and the lack of vocal support. They piped up for a few minutes when we had a short period of pressure on their goal in the first half, but they offered nothing in the second. Some guys in the back row had to get things going with an "Adelaide..." chant. What's the point of travelling all that way if you're not going to support the team??

Always disappointing to lose to MV. First half I thought we had as much of the game as them, but they made better chances. Second half I thought they were comfortable and we barely even huffed and puffed.

Our second half was trash. Poorly coached and outfoxed.

As others have said, we got not only what we deserved but what we were capable of. We played well first half. Second half, their experience and age showed. Wiser, stronger players. And we missed Yull. Duzel is a long way from the finished product - but that's who we have. Javi was stunning for 60 mins but got tired. Isa was similar but is getting slower every game. Tunnicliff did well. Hiro looks sadly isolated and slow. Nestor....well, best not to comment on that one. He'll have much better days. I wonder if his pace might have been useful early on. Their back line is vulnerable.

Lots of good things though, and 2-0 away against the league leaders isn't the end of the world. But it's Victory so it's going to hurt for a while yet. As it should.

Agree, these losses always hurt more, but MV are simply a better team than us at present. Doesn't mean we are bad though.

Finals should still be achievable this season and to develop the youngsters + look at replacing the older boys.
