Geez that defensive system looks great doesn’t it. Could be 4 if not for Gauci and the best part is that a simple ball over the top has left our GK completely exposed twice in addition to conceding two in 15 minutes

It’s a bit of a problem when you have two fullbacks who both want to get high and wide and only one defensive midfielder. Nice attacking options. Not so nice defensive overloads.

Or we have lots of young players who are still learning when to go and when to stay, when to dribble and when to pass, when to shoot and when to hold the ball, when to tackle and when to not commit. I’ve seen all those things in this match.
