A second yellow waiting to happen.
Irankunda gets held and he reacts to not getting the free and the 2nd yellow is straight out.
Farken hell.
That could have been avoided.

Outrageous. Ref misses 2 fouls on Irankunda. As does Linesman. Rightfully frustrated but they send him off. ALeague special.

Couldn’t have got a more clear and blatant free kick for Irankunda. What he should have done is taken his shirt off and offered it to the player.
Poor from Veart IMHO. The changes at the end were suitably attacking in general. But made the Adelaide attack comically one-dimensional. All short players with no aerial threat, all players that like to counterattack and/or have room to run at players.
Victory could just sit back and never have to worry again
Stupid yellow but referee caused that outburst by not blowing for that foul. Nestory can't control his emotions, but being booed for 30 mins and abused by 10 other MV players would be tough for anyone let alone a 17 year old.
The red on nestor is 100% on king, blatant foul he chickened out from calling at end.
Probably could have won it, but MV cut us apart at times even with10.
You’d have to take 1-1 based on that 90 mins overall
Would a foul have been called if that was Fornaroli instead of Nestory?
Would he have reacted the exact same way if he didn't get the call?
If either or both answers are yes, then please explain Alex King.

Would love to hear the dialogue between Ref and Lino. Surely they couldn’t both have missed it? Very poor if they did. Did they then conspire to ignore it? Even worse if they did. Needs to be looked into.
As for Nestory, lesson to be learned. Need to keep your cool young fella.
Foul(s) on Irankunda or not, he needs to study the rules about dissent and retaliation. Won't be the career he's hoping for if he can't get that part of his game sorted. Has a week (or two?) On the sidelines now to think about it.
I think Carl should have taken him off after the first yellow. Was a red card waiting to happen.
Still undefeated but comfortably second best in that game and could have been a cricket score against us. Need Barnett and Tunnicliffe to get fit so we can balance our midfield.

Sorry but we see that sort of reaction all the time from players go unpunished.
Obviously we'd all love for him to be ice cold but it's not going to happen overnight and being red carded isn't going to teach him anything. It was a long time ago but I do vaguely remember being 17. The kids already doing well with it IMO.
The tactics teams are deploying against him is basically Sunday league thugball, just professional fouls and mind games. Won't happen to that degree in better leagues with better players. It's actually pretty depressing.

Of course, but we really shouldn't.
Ref f'd up by not awarding the foul but dissent of the nature we saw should be a yellow card every day of the week so no complaints from me for that.
Should it have gotten to that point? No. But Irankunda will be on the end of plenty more bad decisions in his career so needs to do better.
The A-leagues post the Irankunda second yellow on their tiktok, it gets 200k views compared to their last few videos 10k, 8k, 2k, 3k, 1200 etc etc. All the comments are calling out how bad the referee was to miss the foul and a lot calling racism.
I know this is the A-league but do they not have any shame? It's embarrassing for the people that put money into this league. Anything for views even if it hurts the league.
When you can watch fornarolli ask the ref for cards over and over and call veart a c*#t multiple times and not even have king talk to him, but our lad cops 2 soft yellows.
Alex King has a problem with Irankunda. That much is obvious.
