Looked very much like our first competitive fixture of the season.

Don't like the 4-1-4-1 formation at all and it leaves huge gaps in midfield for us. Would love us to pick up another workhorse mid and play a 4-2-3-1. Isa is having to do everything himself and Clough and Yull are attacking mids so are not the answer IMO.

We are playing the same style as last season - get it wide to wingers and cross it in, but very rarely did we look like scoring from it; it's just too easy to defend. The extra midfielder would allow us to drive through midfield at times and keep defenders guessing.

In any case, a solid performance and clean sheet.

That's his best position.

Have him partner Isa and Clough as a 10 and that's our best midfield combination.
