Good deal for us.

Stays another year.

Substantial fee and add-ons.

What a prospect.

Hell, not Bayern.
Boo, Bayern, boo.
Arrogance in a club.
Nestory should start learning German, now.

Not Bayern, nooooooooooooooooo.

I don't care where he goes as long as it's not Scotland and as long as he develops further here first.

According to Carl there are a few teams looking at him.
Bayern is just one of them supposedly.

Zach Clough gave up the game plan when he came off. Paraphrasing but something along the lines of “Get it to Nestor on the right and hope he does something…. Or Goody”.

Unfortunately it’s pretty telegrammed by now. He’s good but the other teams have finally caught up with the hype. When he’s got to do it all himself he’s got a whole team defending him… and there’s not much he can do. Same for goody. Need a lot more from Halloran and Kitto when Nestor comes on.

Ps gday all! Have replaced sunny Santa Rita for sunny Adelaide.

Welcome back bundibundi!

You are right there, they've worked us out and the better teams have been able to do something about it.

Teams definitely do double team and professional foul him. Despite that, if it wasn't for a very good save by Vukovic, he still would have scored. It's crazy for a 17 year old.

Hopefully he can get his body ready in the preseason and we can see what he can do from the start.

Straight away they knew they needed to put on someone sharp, quick enough to keep up, and unafraid of a bit of niggle to stop him - Farrelly. He did a great job on him, & obv did really well to get his toe to that ball just as Nes was about to pull the trigger
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Yes, Farrelly also had Nestory well covered when we played them a couple of weeks ago.
CCM put the lad on straight away, as soon as we made our changes.

Verbal agreement reached with Bayern for £3m + add-ons (which are reportedly future signing bonuses we will collect if he's on-sold).

Not a bad bit of business for AU but seems a very good deal for Bayern.

Fingers and toes crossed he develops into the player we all expect him to be.

Hoping there are clauses that both we and he will benefit from.

According to that article, he'll be on loan with us for the 23-24 season, so we've still got the rest of the season with him - we probably wouldn't keep him much after that anyway. Might give him time to mature after his red card.

Yes we have him until season's end. Something about not being able to sign players under the age of 18. He turns 18 in Feb 2024 so they can't sign him until the transfer window after this.

I'm still not convinced it's the right club for him.
I hope I'm proven wrong.

IMO Adelaide should seriously consider offering marquee/"designated player" dollars to keep him for a few years. Or at least force a better deal out of the purchaser
