Another important game at home. No Juande and presumably Blackwood for this one.
Should get it done.

It's not a bad side, but I'd have Warland in for Poppa. That was a very bad pen to give and I think he's struggling at the moment. Massive rise to prominence and now he needs to settle.

Agree, but an equally bad red Warland gave away the week before. It's not a bad side, but I'd have Warland in for Poppa. That was a very bad pen to give and I think he's struggling at the moment. Massive rise to prominence and now he needs to settle.
Popa definitely needs a benching when everyone is fit.
Barr / Warland + Ansell I think is my preferred pairing. Ansell obviously made of, not just glass but that glass they use in movies that disintegrates as soon as you touch it. So big asterisk next to him.

Ansell is IMO our best at clearing it and having a big presence defending.
Popa is IMO our best at distribution in possession and speed getting back chasing through balls. Still young and can make mistakes, but the same can be said for Warland and Barr.

Bernardo played in a youth team friendly so he shouldn’t be too far away.Another important game at home. No Juande and presumably Blackwood for this one.
Should get it done.

VDS is probably out for the season
Re: Preview: Reds v Brisbane - 4 Feb 2023
That sucks about VDS. He was a big part of the reason we had that good pre-WC run.
I'm hearing Blackwood could be a long-term out too which is disappointing.

Re: Preview: Reds v Brisbane - 4 Feb 2023
Re-read the og article about VDS's injury and he had surgery early December and was expected to be out for 3 months.
If we got him back in March he might squeeze in 4 or 5 games plus finals.
