This should be a routine win and a goal difference builder for us, but the extreme heat means that nothing can be assumed. The Jest show flashes of ability, but then usually wilt under sustained pressure. If we can be 2 - 0 up after the first twenty minutes, then we'll be fine, but if they score first and then play a genuine back five (ie. no wingbacks), we'll be in trouble.

Arthur Papas tries very hard with his collection of rejects and has beens and it's hard not to feel a little sorry for him. The Jest is the team that you go to when you can't get a job anywhere else and the thinness of the gameday squad, let alone their bench, shows that. Alex Ferguson once said that he could usually tell how well any EPL team would do before a season when he looked at that team's substitutes, not at the first eleven. The Jest's bench would struggle to make train on squaddies in any other team in the competition. Even Perth have a better list and that is saying something.

So this will either be a comfortable win for us - or a banana skin loss. Everything depends on the first 20 minutes and how well each side handles the heat.

We finished somewhat stronger but we looked so unsure about what we were doing in large parts of the half.

Considering all the rubbish flying around about the league, and the atrocious weather, this is a decent crowd tonight. 7,000 plus?
