What chance Goody will still be with us when the season restarts - Buckley's, or none?

It was a great goal. But if we're honest his game overall wouldn't have woken up any recruiters unless they already had an eye on him.

I think Craig has done the overseas thing is happy and settled back home with the family.

That's what I keep telling myself anyway

I think he'll stay.

Keep up his good form with us and he'll be a certainty to play in the Asian Cup.

Moving to an overseas club is something all players should aspire to, however it can cause instability (plus Craig has already played in Holland).

I thought McGree might break out this WC, so far he's not there.

Goody however, etching his name in to our best of all time. Great lad too.

His general play has been good - linking, turning, tracking back, creating space for others. But we haven’t seen any end product - shots on target, incisive balls in behind, assists. He’s got it in his locker, just hasn’t shown it yet.

Agree. A lot of these games comes down to what sides do without the ball. Allowing space in key areas was our undoing V France and was far better V Tunisia.
I think one of the most impressive aspects of Saturday was our general ball speed which was impressive and every player has a roll in.

What a world cup to be a reds fan! My kids obviously know about Goodwin and that's great but I've enjoyed regaling them in stories about Leckie, McGree and Mabil when they played for us. Seeing them all make an impact has been amazing.
