Alagich is a good pick from a "Minimal disruption to the best players in the Starting XI" point of view. Vs Blackwood who trips over Halloran regularly or Van Der Saag who requires moving Halloran centrally.

IDK what people see in Van Der Saag. He's been fine, but there isn't a spot for him in the team. At least not until Lopez retires or one of Goodwin/Halloran/Kitto gets a sudden big offer overseas.

Agree it's hard to fit VDS in because Lopez is better at RB and Halloran at RW. It's just unfortunate as the bloke has a lot of hunger and drive which we saw in the goal last weekend.

Has to start on the bench as you've said. Can help us manage Lopez.
