Good to get the points but we look a disjointed unit. Clough isn't going to be the answer to our 10 due to injuries (I'm tipping he won't be able to get three consecutive games in this season) so we are going to need a solution to our 10 that isn't Halloran.
What a shame Bernardo is out, I believe his preferred role is #10. He won't be back til Feb.

Have we had a real 10 since Flores - Carrusca ?

Blackwood had a torrid time in front of goal but he put in a good shift I thought. He won the ball back 3 or 4 times, used his body really effectively, and occupied his defenders really well . Which was all very un-Blackwood like tbh. Basically, he did exactly what Ibesuki had been doing.
Whether or not you think he deserves a place in the squad, as a like-for-like with Hiro there's nobody else you could throw on.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

I enjoyed the game with the kids some more finishing would have been nice but thought the boys played well pressed well which was good to see.

was strange with the new stand on the other side but had a good feel to the game

only disappointment was that i couldn't get chicken salt for my chips

I feel like this has been a strength of his for a couple of years now. He’s been able to hold the ball up and draw fouls for quite a while.

At this stage, I don’t think he deserves a new contract but he is our second best striking option at present.
