I can accept that decision without VAR. Things get missed or look worse etc but when you have a system in place that constantly fails and they think that speeding up the process is more important that getting it right, what is the point?

If media and fans haven't spent the last two/three years having a moral panic over the VAR and undermining its ability to do anything, then that Red Card is rescinded 10 out of 10 times. But now you'd struggle just to work out what the card was for within the entire 30 seconds or whatever the timelimit is, let alone judge its validity.

Clumsy by Ibusuki though, it was only inviting trouble. the contact was so late you'd almost call it a second action (which the ref probably did)
