Meh, not worth getting too invested if that is what we are dishing up in 22/23. Not enough talent and quality

Disappointing match of course. Strange sub by Carl taking Barr off for Juande. A lot of the subs felt like a bit of a gamble to get some match conditioning into players.
Saying that, we did put the ball in the net 3 times and missed some sitters. It's not panic stations yet.

Only watched the highlights but looked as though we had the better chances and were a bit stiff to have Hiroshi's goal ruled out.
Seems like Isa played a big part in both of their goals.
Where is Clough? Bloke had been raved about all off season how fit he is and how good a season he will have yet he can't play back to back games?
Keeping a squad similar year on year can be good for stability but this year it looks like everyone is a bit older and slower and we've not replaced the quality we've lost.
None of the kids coming through seem to be at the level of Yengi, Toure x2, McGree of years gone by.
Getting a point total from Welly and Macarthur is disappointing as these teams were in my bottom six.

Agree with Mcjules here, it's not panic stations yet. We let Azarni off the leash for a bit and it cost the game.
Between Blackwood and Ibusuki we had the chances to win.
Thought the subs were ok but where was Clough? And how does Alagich get a run ahead of Yull.
We went in to the season with too many DMs and it shows at times.

Clough picked up an injury in training according to commentary.
I don't think Blackwood was as bad as other's are saying. But now that both Halloran and Goodwin are back I think he mostly gets in the way of them when playing the role he did today. The miss before the Arzani goal was strange though, because if you told me Blackwood was going to spurn a good chance I'd assume he blasted it over the bar.

time to coax Flores and Carrusca out of retirement
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
