It says a lot about the guy that despite the club showing so much faith and patience with him after suffering two ACL injuries, he terminated the contact he only signed a couple of months ago before the season even started only to sign for our arch rivals.

Reality is, the guy couldn't get a game ahead of the ageing Spaniards or the youth that's passed him by. He's a squadie that's spurned almost every chance he's had.

Smith started the first 9 games of the 20/21 season before being “rested” and never played for the club again. He didn’t perform badly in those games so it can’t have been performance related.

I dunno, it seemed to me like Smith wanted to do what he wanted to do. Was good going forward but didn't really want to do the defensive stuff.
At CCM he seemed ok but didn't set the world alight, albeit I didn't see a heap of their games.

One thing though when Carl makes up his mind, you're done. Interesting to see Dukuly in the U20 national team this week....
