Free kick to City in a dangerous area. I thought Brook got the ball cleanly.

Wall did its job. Quick counter from us, but closed down.
1 added minute.
Jamieson gets caught on the ball and gets a (unfortunately deserved) free kick. Crowd (quite rightly … after all it is Jamo) boos.
Half time 0-0

I like the way out boys are taking it on, not afraid of the champions.
It would have been nice to score in the first 10 when we dominated, Brook beat one or two and just needed to get the ball to Goodwin with pace and it would have been 1-0.
With a fresh Bernardo and Yengi on the bench I'm confident we score.

Well that was a great half of football.
Deservedly 0-0.
City had the clearer chances, but only on the counter.
We did our usual careful build up then try an incisive pass, but City defence had closed us down well and we haven’t had a shot to force a decent save. Last pass overhit, or intercepted. Just takes one to get through and we’ll score.

They're smothering Goody out of the game.
We've been really patient in our build-up and get to the front third where it breaks down.
Have been impressed by Blackwood's touches so far. Getting in between the lines and playing some good forward passes.

Blackwood probably our best in the front third so far.
All Goody’s crosses have been overhit so far. Brook has collected them all, but I wish they’d been in the general vicinity of George or Hiro’s head.

Hook Brook and Ibusuki.
Good just ran away from busuki, that's Yengi time.
Bernardo on as well.

On the handball- definitely worth a second look but I'm satisfied, his arm was tucked in, you can't cut your arms off. If his arm was out wide and it hit his elbow I'd feel differently.

Every time we have a tall powerful striker we struggle to put the crosses on his forrid. Hiro has good feet but gets too many balls to his feet.

We’ve had the best chances this half (except City hitting the post).

Gauci another great save point blank into his chest.
