We completely dominated the first half. Similar story at the start of the second half, but I feel like we fell away a fair bit in the last 20 minutes and were lucky not to concede.

Time for a little caution. We still have to beat Western to ensure fourth place. Central Coast have a game advantage and two relatively easy games to finish their season. I thought the subs last night were disappointing. Lachy Brook did not seem happy. We may be in form, but wins against the bottom two teams should be a given and should have been a lot more convincing.

Yeah always better to have the points in hand rather than potential but Central Coast are the favourites for fourth.

I haven't looked into this but I feel the vagaries of the draw might have bitten us. The team's we've had 3 times were City, Victory and Perth. City and Victory are obviously very strong this season and we're one of the few teams that's had travel to Perth to play them (and we've done it twice) which is a much tougher task than playing them on the east coast.

Also we missed penalties that cost us points that would have made it comfortable.

Oh well, I've been happy with our season regardless.

He's had his critics but I felt Blackwood did really well. Not just his goal but I felt he helped us play a lot more though the middle.

Much better game from Blackwood tonight.
Kitto and Lopez so dangerous from wing back positions.
Goodwin solid as usual
Juande strolled the game, particularly the first half. When he is on, he is brilliant.
Hiro is the striker we needed.
That's two games in a row now where we looked far less dangerous and in control after Brook went off.
He adds so much to our attacking chances.
Defence pretty solid again and looks like we are building a centre partnership for the future.
If we play like our last two first half's, we could do a bit of damage in the finals.
If we play like our second half's, I'm not so sure
